How PSIchic Works
PSIchic starts by automatically scanning each program directly accessible from your menu system. (In addition to programs available from the menu system, any TCL program, batch record type program, etc., can be added to the initial scanning process.) The cross reference linkages and data file usages of all the programs used in your system grow from these initial programs.
While scanning these initial programs, PSIchic records the linkages to the other programs and data files which are used. When a program links to a program which is not part of the initial program, the linked program is also scanned for more program linkages and data file usages. In turn, all programs directly or indirectly accessible from the initial programs are scanned.
